Distributing food, toiletries and gift cards to rough sleepers and the homeless in the United Kingdom
This project is set up for households that do not have an essential appliance (ie a fridge, cooker, washing machine etc). Also for households that are, at this hard time, struggling to buy food/provisions. We are giving away between £100 - £150 gift vouchers to help in acquiring any of the above.
Food justice is an important part of community justice. We accept donations from local businesses and use them to fight hunger. Help us to connect with projects/donors and with people in need.
At this trying time it is very possible we may know a family member or someone that may have been affected or lost a loved one as a result of the current pandemic. We want you to nominate anyone that has lost a loved one to our charity via this project.
We will endeavour, where we can, to send them out one of our beautiful sympathy cards just to remind them that they are not alone and that the HAK Community cares.
Our members/community will be hoping to provide aid in deprived areas of Africa. We hope to be able to send clothes, provide food and enable access to education through apprenticeships for the less fortunate via our projects in the near future.
