I had been without a fridge for some time now. There were financial issues preventing me from being able to buy one.
 

I was on the phone to my friend one day (in the afternoon). Whilst on the phone I was having a browse looking at fridges and praying for the means to be in a position to finally buy one.
 

Later on that the evening my friend messaged me asking for my bank account details. I was taken aback by this as I had not mentioned anything in relation to my current struggle and knew that she wasn't in a position to help. She then told me that she was going to put a certain amount of money in my account and asked me to please “go and buy a fridge.”
 

I was shocked and of course grateful! I thanked her to which she replied that it was from Humble Acts of Kindness, a new charity that were at the time running their, "Silent Giver Project." I was truly touched!
It showed me that my prayers had been answered through vessels set up to help.
 

It reminded me of the need for us to help one another.

On my way home from an evening meeting, at the train station, I saw a man sitting at the stairs with a sign board asking for help. He was crying uncontrollably. I asked him what was wrong and tried to calm him down.

He was crying because he had nowhere to sleep that night and had previously slept in the park but was attacked. I continued speaking with him and asked how I could help. He told me of a placed he stayed at before and that it was safe and clean. I told him that I would go with him and pay the money for him once we got to the accommodation.

We went and it was as he said. I met the owner who was lovely. She was grateful that I helped a person in need.

The happiness on the gentleman's face was priceless.

Due to the lockdown of Covid-19, the past 3 months have been a financial struggle for me, not being able to work and having no income whatsoever. My landlord was kind enough to give me a 3 month rent break but I was burdened by how I was going to make next months rent. For the past 3 weeks I have been fasting and in constant prayer for God to make a way. 

A couple of mornings ago my friend called me and told me I had been on her mind, we chatted, I told her my situation and we hung up. Shortly after she called me back saying she nominated me to a charity that is known for helping those in need. By the following day I received confirmation that Humble Acts of Kindness were willing to assist me with a payment towards my rent that was due at the end of the month. Tears flooded my face as my testimony and the fruition of Gods word was literally handed to me. 

Thank you HAK Ltd for answering my prayers. Words will never be enough to describe the joy, gratitude and relief you have provided me with. I am so very humbled by your generosity. May God bless you and continue to strengthen your cause.
